There is something charming about Banksia Cottage. From the moment you walk through the door you step back in time. The cottage is situated in the historic Mort Estate.
Built in 1898, Banksia Cottage is an original workers cottage that is older than the automobile, the Titanic and WW1. Banskia comfortably sleeps 4 people. The cottage is pet friendly, so you don't have to leave your much loved pooch at home.
We are a short stroll to cafes, pubs and the CBD. The most beautiful parks and gardens are situated nearby.
Cottage Inclusions
The cottage has two bedrooms: A queen room and a twin room with all linen supplied.
All beds have electric blankets. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans.
There is gas heating for Toowoombas chilly winter and the lounge has an open fire to create that romantic mood.
The fully equipped country kitchen allows you to whip up a home cooked meal.
A newly renovated bathroom with a period feel has a lovely big shower.
A washer, dryer and ironing facilities are great for that longer stay.
The front verandah is ideal for relaxing with a cool drink on a summer evening.
